Petaluma Speedway Signs One Year Contract Extension

Petaluma Speedway Signs One Year Contract Extension

I’m pleased to announce that the 4th District Agricultural Association (Sonoma-Marin Fair Board) in conjunction with CEO Allison Keaney, and myself have agreed to a one-year contract extension for Glad Enterprises, Inc to continue to operate Petaluma Speedway. This one-year extension will ensure that the facility remains open through the 2023 season. I also would like to put rumors to rest that I intend to leave Petaluma Speedway for another venue. For the last decade the staff and I have done everything in our control to comply with our contract stipulations in an effort to keep the track in operation. I feel compelled to keep up the fight and will do everything I can to see this through. Obviously, much depends on the Petaluma City Council and their vision/plans for the property. The racing community as a whole implores that the city council do whats right and negotiate a long term contract extension with fair board to keep both the fairgrounds and the speedway in tact for future generations to experience and enjoy.
Respectfully,
Rick Faeth
