Petaluma Speedway is proud to release it’s 2014 Season Schedule

Twenty three events will be contested starting April 12th and ending with the 3rd Adobe Cup Open Show on October 11th. Returning for the third season will be the Pit Stop USA Winged 360’s and Spec Sprints with 13 point races for each division. Plenty of additional specialty sprint car shows will also headline at the west’s fastest 3/8th’s mile oval. The King of the West 410 Sprint Car Series will return on May 10th. The California State Civil War Series will compete on April 26th and July 5th with the latter date being a Johnny Key Qualifier Race. The United States Auto Club’s 410 CRA Sprint Cars will invade on June 28th and the USAC Western Classic non-wing 360’s will compete on October 4th. The third annual Soares Classic will feature a pair of 50 lap features on the same night with the USAC-BCRA Midgets contesting one and the Joe Hunt vs Pit Stop USA Spec Sprints the second. The Hunt Wingless Series will continue to partner with Petaluma Speedway as a “home” track with four dates in 2014. The Nor-Cal Challenge IMCA Modifieds will compete on the Adobe clay twice on May 31st and July 26th, with IMCA will continuing to sanction the weekly Modified Series which will include a dozen points shows. The Lumberjack Restaurant Super Stocks will have a dozen points shows in addition to having an Open Show on Adobe Cup Night. The Petaluma Speedway Dwarf Cars will have 13 events and will co-sanction with the new South Bay Dwarf Car Association a couple of times. The highlight of the dwarf season will be the Western States Regional on June 14th and the annual twin-25’s on October 4th. The ever expanding Mini Stock Class will also have 13 dates in 2014. The Bay Cities Racing Association Midgets and Midget Lites, and vintage midgets will have solo dates as well. Petaluma Speedway is also happy to add three 600 Micro Midget events for the forthcoming campaign. The year would not be complete without Gene Romero’s West Coast Flat Track Series which will be Sunday, June 22nd.
