Petaluma Speedway Set For 61st Season

Petaluma Speedway, Sonoma Counties oldest professional sporting venue releases its 2021 schedule today. Full slate of 26 events are planned. The season will kick off with a pair of test & tune days March 13th & 20th. The first race will be on March 27th featuring the first of a pair of Joe Hunt Magneto/C&H Veterans Wingless Sprint Series events. The season will feature a trio each of the Elk Grove Ford Sprint Car Challenge Tour presented by Abreu Vineyards and King of the West-NARC Fujitsu Sprint Car Series events.
The United States Auto Club will continue to have a home at the west’s fastest 3/8ths mile oval in 2021 with three USAC West Coast 360 events coupled with three USAC Western States Midget & BCRA events. The exciting USAC-CRA Sprint Car Series will return on Labor Day Monday, Sept 6th.
The 10th annual Soares Classic & Adobe Cup events will be Aug 21th & Sept 25th respectfully. The successful IMCA Speedweek and Top Dog Modified Nationals will return along with the Redwood Dwarf Car two-day Western States Nationals & Twin 20’s event.
The Tri-State Pro Stock Series will visit the Adobe surface twice in 2021 on April 11th and for the 5th annual Bob McCoy Memorial.
With these special events and tours will accompany a full season of Winged 360, Wingless Sprints, IMCA Modifieds, Redwood Dwarfs, Super Stocks, 600 Micros, and Mini Stocks.
Due to last seasons successful Sunday Night events we have scheduled 6 Super Sunday Twilight Shows with the expectation of hitting the track by 3 pm and concluding racing by 8:30 pm.
Petaluma Speedway has adopted both of the Joe Hunt Magneto/C&H Veterans Sprint Car Series Rules and the Tri-State Pro Stock Series Rules for the 2021 season as our track rules packages for the Wingless Sprints and the Super Stock classes. By adopting these rules and through diligent scheduling with both series this will allow for a more versatile and diverse group of cars to compete at Petaluma Speedway. Copies of both sets of rules can be downloaded here http://www.petaluma-speedway.com/driver-info/rules/
We look forward to seeing everyone March 13th. Happy New Year.
